Jagatdhatri or Jagaddhatri ( Bearer of the World) is an aspect of the Hindu goddess Parvati, worshipped in the Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha.Her worship and rituals are derived from Tantra, where she is a symbol of Sattva beside Durga and Kali, who are respectively symbols of Rajas and Tamas.
On the ninth day of the waxing phase of the moon in Kartik month, Bengal and eastern India observe Jagadhatri Puja. It is also referred to as Jagadamba Puja and Dhatri Pooja. In this year, The date of Jagadhatri Puja was November 2.
