Anne and Richard Brewster are on their honeymoon aboard the liner Maurevania. Anne briefly leaves Richard in Cabin B-13 to speak with the ship’s purser about a lost item. When she returns, the hallway appears altered, and Cabin B-13 has completely vanished, replaced by a blank wall. Desperate, Anne appeals to the ship’s staff, but they insist that no such cabin exists and that her ticket was issued for a single passenger. As she is confronted by a doctor who claims she is suffering from a nervous breakdown, Anne must determine if she is the victim of a massive conspiracy or if her own mind has fractured, all while searching for her missing husband on the high seas.
