भारत सरकार ने 8वें वेतन आयोग (8th Pay Commission) के लिए आधिकारिक पोर्टल (8cpc.gov.in) लॉन्च किया है और 3 नवंबर 2025 की अधिसूचना के जरिए इसके गठन की पुष्टि की है। सरकार ने कर्मचारी संघों, रक्षा कर्मियों और पेंशनभोगियों से 8वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग को ज्ञापन और सुझाव आमंत्रित किए हैं। यह 1 जनवरी 2026 से लागू हो सकता है, जिसमें 2.86 तक फिटमेंट फैक्टर होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे न्यूनतम मूल वेतन 51,480 रुपये तक बढ़ सकता है।

The Government of India has officially constituted the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) through a gazette notification dated November 3, 2025, following the approval of its Terms of Reference in late October 2025. The official portal, 8cpc.gov.in, has been launched to serve as the dedicated website for the commission.

The 8th Pay Commission, chaired by Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai (Retd.), is tasked with reviewing and recommending revisions to salaries, allowances, pensions, and service conditions for central government employees, defense personnel, All India Services members, and pensioners. It covers millions of serving employees and retirees.

The commission has invited memoranda, representations, and suggestions from employee unions, associations, defense personnel, pensioners, and other stakeholders. Submissions can be made through the official portal (8cpc.gov.in) in a structured format, with ongoing calls for inputs (some deadlines extend to April 2026 for certain responses, and questionnaire responses were sought by mid-March 2026 via MyGov).
