~HOW THE SAND GOT CLEANED~
Below is information from the shop explaining the Cleaning and Maintenance of the Japanese Volcanic Sand:
Before and after each use, the sand is cleaned and sterilized by releasing water at 100 degrees into the pond 3-4 times before and after each customer's use. This process involves raking and leveling the sand, removing any debris, and adding a disinfecting agent into the pond to maintain hygiene standards.
The Sand Bath Pond's Water Treatment System is quality controlled every 7 days.
Last but not least, the customer/patient must clean their body by showering before getting into the sand bath (same requirement when you take Japanese Onsen).
Overall, the cleaning process of a Japanese volcanic sand bath involves meticulous attention to detail to ensure the safety, comfort, and effectiveness of the therapeutic experience for every participant.
