Why you don't know you are God
Today I want to explain to you the reason why you don't know that your I am is God or you are God. This is from the book by Erin Werley: One Truth, One Law: I AM, I Create.
When you come into a physical body, your persona is created which makes you believe that you are an individual separate from everyone else. The idea of separation is an illusion, but it is there so that I am or Consciousness which is your true self can have a variety of experiences as an individual.
And so your persona exists in this physical reality only because it was created by your I AM consciousness so that you can have individual experiences.
But there is only one truth and that truth is you are God, and your thoughts create. For the first few years of your life, you’re being created upon by other people's thoughts. For example, your parents start thinking thoughts about you such as what you would be like way before you are born. When they tell other people about you, those people begin thinking thoughts about you as well. Their thoughts started to create your persona. Then you were given a name, and you grew up believing that you are this persona and not God who actually created this persona. At a certain age, I Am’s consciousness enters into the child which gives him or her the ability to create with thoughts. And It’s around this time that a person will have their first memory. When I Am’s consciousness is in you, your thoughts in combination with everyone else’s continue creating your false self. In most cases, you will continue recreating what other people have been creating upon you. For instance, if you’re told that you’re smart or beautiful, you’ll grow up believing it.
Having the persona as a veil between humans and who they really are is the only way to have individual experiences. Without personas, I Am has full knowing of its oneness with everything, but it limits the physical experiences  For example, when you love someone, you believe that they are a separate individual, and forming a connection of oneness with them feels really good. The persona allows I Am to come into human bodies and experience being individuals who learn and make choices.
Once our knowing of who we truly are increases, our limiting beliefs start shattering and we become more like a persona that knows it is I Am and it creates. It is necessary if you have a persona to build your knowing that you are God by making intentions and taking actions. It is a way to believe when you are not fully aware that you are I am. It’s a tangible knowing instead of a knowing that I Am. For example, you know what you want to be or have. You believe that it’s possible, but you also believe that you need to take certain actions to overcome the obstacles that you are perceiving in your physical reality. Because you are not fully aware that you are God, you will need to make decisions and take certain actions if necessary to build your knowing that your thoughts create. Work has to be done only because you aren’t complete in your knowing that you are God.
It is necessary if you have a persona to build your knowing that you are God by making intentions and taking actions. It is a way to believe when you are not fully aware that you are I am.
If you are I Am without a persona, there is nothing you need to do, because you know that your thought is created immediately.
