Описание: If you love the idea of stepping back in time and being inside the walls of a real castle, then this one is for you.

We started with a 45-minute drive to Filerimos to check out a restored medieval monastery. It was stunning and so much history embedded into the grounds.

We then drove by the Acropolis area on top of Monte Smith and could see the Colosseum from the bus. There are tours that will take you in there.

From here we headed to the Palace of the Grand Masters and got to be within the castle walls. It had artwork, furniture and decor from multiple countries and periods. Showing us glimpses of time and influences that created this place. We also got to meet a knight which was really cool.

After this we walked the streets to see where people lived and check out the Bazaar.

We also found Hans & Gretel, a cute gelato shop that we highly recommend.

This is a must do if you’re coming to Rhodes.
