HYDRAA Protects 200 Acres of Government Land Worth ₹30K Crore Near Hyderabad

Описание: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has carried out a major operation to safeguard nearly 200 acres of government land located on the Puppalaguda–Khajaguda border in Rangareddy district.

The land, which contains historic rock formations, was previously allotted to HMDA by the state government. Environmental activists and members of the Society to Save Rocks have been fighting for decades to protect these unique geological heritage structures from encroachments and urban development.

Following complaints submitted through HYDRAA Prajavani, officials conducted a detailed field inspection. HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath, along with Revenue and Municipal Department officials, verified the land records and identified the rock hillocks as government property.

Authorities have now fenced the entire area to prevent future encroachments. According to HYDRAA, the estimated value of the protected government land is around ₹30,000 crore.
