The Department of Military veterans has embarked on a national verification process to track veterans who have been cut off from receiving their benefits.
The process also entails cleaning the database and removing those who are fraudulently benefiting from the department.
The Presidential Task Team on Military Veterans' Database, Verification, Cleansing and Enhancement officials are in the Northern Cape for two weeks to trace excluded soldiers.
