We were having fun at a place called Mark's Field. It is a American Modeler Association Flying Strip. Soon, September 16, it may be much busier. That is when Remote ID gets into gear. If your UAV Drone is registered and does not have Remote ID and weighs more than 249 grams, this will probably be one of the local flying areas sanctioned by the FAA.
It is a very nice facility in the Santa Anna River Valley near Mentone, California. It has all the facilities needed to fly model aircraft. It is only open to members so I assume you will have to be a member to use the field in September. Basically, there are big changes coming and Mark's Field and other facilities like it will be the only place to fly if you do not have remote ID.
