MIND BLOWING 'Disappearing Road’ Underwater Bridge!

This surreal drone footage appears to show cars disappearing into the water before emerging seconds later, thanks to an extraordinary feat of engineering. Stunning pictures and video captured by Rutger den Hertog, show the Veluwemeer Aqueduct in the Netherlands - a 25-metre-long water bridge located over Veluwemeer lake in the town of Harderwijk. The remarkable structure was opened in 2002 and connects the mainland of the Netherlands to Flevoland, which just happens to be the largest artificial island in the world. The unique bridge is used by around 28,000 cars a day and the three-metre-deep water bridge allows small boats to pass over the road safely whilst cars travel underneath.
