A Reading of Chapter 8 "The School of the Spirit"

GOD IS TRIUNE: FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT
John 1:1-14: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,"
Colossians 2:9: "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,"
Matthew 28:19: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".
2 Corinthians 13:14: "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all".


JESUS BECAME A HUMAN, IN ORDER TO REDEEM MANKIND AND RESTORE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND HIS CREATION
John 1:14:
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Hebrews 2:17:
"Therefore in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people."

JESUS DIED ON A CROSS FOR REMISSION OF SIN/ TO REDEEM HUMANITY FROM EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED FROM THE FALL, BACK IN GENESIS
Romans 5:6-10: "For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. ... But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
1 Corinthians 15:3-4: "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."
Isaiah 53:5: "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed."

JESUS WAS RAISED FROM TEH DEAD IN HIS BODY 3 DAYS AFTER HE DIED:
Luke 24:39: "See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see; for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have."
John 20:27: "Then he said to him, 'Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put your hand into my side.' And he said, 'Lord, my Lord.'"


JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, AND IS COMING BACK!
Acts 1:11 "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven"
Hebrews 9:28 "So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him"
