Sarah, a twenty-something, perfectionist, workaholic finds herself laid of from her job. Suddenly facing the void of her perceived purposeless existence, she copes with this the way many do when they're looking for an escape: Endless scrolling through the social media video app, TubeTop. Despite concerns from her partner, Ben, Sarah's social media addiction spirals until she is fully consumed.

Director's Statement:
I wrote Doom Scroll during a slower period in my career. I was grappling with my own dependency on TikTok as a means to self-soothe my existential dread while feeling “unproductive”. I would end my days feeling irritated, antisocial, and depressed. It felt like social media was consuming me, so I channeled that feeling and created a story and a character where that was the reality.
