Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the CII members for turning India into 4th largest economy of the world. He was addressing CII Annual Business Summit 2025 in New Delhi. He praised Indian armed forces for their valour and precision strikes in PoK and Pakistan. On the occasion, he highlighted that the cost of breeding terrorism has turned prohibitive for Pakistan now. He also expressed hopes that one day PoK brother sisters will return to India on their own. He highlighted the need for big push for indigenous manufacturing in the wake of grand success of indigenous weapon systems demonstrated in Operation Sindoor. In this regard he informed industry community that India's 5th generation stealth fighter jet program AMCA got the execution model approval just 2 days back.
