Woodturning - Blue Dye Stain Plus Liming Wax [5 Step Process]

Описание: Today I'm dyeing the square catalpa bowl that I turned in my previous video, then filling the grain with liming wax... but first, for an even more dramatic effect, I sandblast the grain to create deeper grooves for the liming wax. Although there's technically no turning in this video, the embellishment of my work and the end result I'm seeking often guide the process starting with the selection of wood. There's only one small detail on this piece that I would change if I could go back, but really this bowl came out better than I was expecting or even hoping for!

Please note, my videos are simply demonstrations and are NOT intended to be instructional. Do not attempt things that are beyond your skill level or your comfort level.
