Hailing from Nottingham, England, Pete Draper is a CG artist with close to 20 years experience. Having occupied various positions like Director of Visual Effects, Lead and Senior Artist and Head of Media in the past, today he is the co-founder of Makuta Visual Effects. Apart from writing for numerous publications, his book "Deconstructing the Elements" deals with the recreation of natural elements with CG. He teaches students at animation festivals like Animex and was also nominated for an Autodesk Masters award in 2007. He was one of the Visual Effects Supervisor of the technically acclaimed blockbuster Eega, along with an enviable list of movies that include Naan Ee, Endhiran, Magadheera, and Ghajini, to name a few.
