ABOUT ME:
David Cabador (he/him) is an emerging Filipino singer-songwriter based in Vancouver, Canada, known for his charismatic presence and emotionally charged songwriting.

As he built a following by performing online during the COVID-19 pandemic, David began his music career with the release of his debut single, “happy for you.” It quickly became a hit among his growing and devoted fan base, reaching over one thousand streams in less than two days. He has since followed up with five singles, including collaborations with mmn, Kah'Nya, and FHILIS.

David's artistry is widely recognized and acknowledged. His performance ventures include gracing Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Vancouver Playhouse, and the Shipyards Night Market. David has been involved in collaborative work, performing with the Vancouver Community College Concert Choir, the Great Northern Way ensemble, and the Vox Nova Community Choir. Additionally, he made his mark as a choral composer, premiering an original piece performed by the Vancouver Cantata Singers. He has also received numerous merit and academic-based awards from Vancouver Community College (VCC), including the Fred Bass Scholarship.

Currently, David is nearing completion of VCC's Bachelor of Applied Music program, studying songwriting under Erik Severinson and voice under Paula Kremer. His current endeavours consist of musically directing his senior year recital, as well as preparing for the release of his debut EP, both scheduled for spring 2026.
