For the very first time in Kalimpong’s history, the United Veterans of Kalimpong hosted the grand finale of the prestigious Sahid Cup under the floodlights.
In a thrilling contest, Georgian FC struck first with a goal in the first half, only for UKFC to fight back and equalize in the second half. With the score locked at 1–1 after full time, the match went straight into a penalty shootout to decide the 2025 Sahid Cup champions.
What followed was the most nail-biting penalty shootout of the tournament! ⚡ After moments of high drama and nerve-wracking kicks, it was Georgian FC, Kalimpong who held their nerve and emerged as the Sahid Cup 2025 Champions. 🏆⚽
