Concept and Inspiration
Drawing from the imagery of hot air balloons drifting across the sky, we created an interactive kinetic installation that captures the essence of modern travel. In airports—where thousands of people cross paths daily—AIR BALLOONS transforms interiors into a mesmerizing performance of movement and light, evoking a sense of weightlessness and adventure.

Movement and Choreography
96 kinetic elements, each rising and lowering independently
20 dynamic movement patterns, creating a constantly evolving visual spectacle
600 mm balloon diameter, with a maximum descent of 10 meters
20-minute performance cycles, ensuring a continuously shifting artistic display
Technical Overview
Spanning 31m x 10m, the installation features precision-controlled kinetic winches, orchestrating the seamless motion of each element to create an ever-changing aerial dance.
