Collect Earth - land monitoring through visual interpretation

Описание: This video demonstrates the functionalities of Open Foris Collect Earth and its integration with Bing Maps, Google Earth, Google Earth Engine and Saiku.

Collect Earth is a Free and Open Source tool that allows easy land monitoring, using freely available services, through a visual interpretation process which allows for collection of IPCC compliant data.

This video includes a demonstration of how Collect Earth makes use of the power of Google services in order to assess Land Use Change through the use of the Google Earth historical imagery and Google Earth Engine access to the Landsat dataset from 1984 on-wards. The video ends with a demonstration od how the data collected is easily analyzed using the Open Source tool Saiku which is integrated within Collect Earth.
