Описание: Before we do any mathematical model for a sequential decision problem, we need to know 1) the performance metrics, 2) the types of decisions being made, and 3) the sources of uncertainty. I call this "framing the problem," and it applies to any problem where we are trying to do better. Framing the problem involves no math, but it requires knowing how to ask the right questions of domain experts.
