Описание: This video shows how a rock wall amoring project was completed on Canmore Creek to deal with a bank erosion site on an old coal mining site adjacent to the stream. The project was completed by Bow Valley Habitat Development, with funding support from partner TransAlta Utilities Corporation. Willow plants were also used for enhanced bio-engineering in the design. There is footage of the site 11 years after it was completed. All of the necessary Provincial and Federal Government permits were obtained prior to any construction taking place. Incuding the Town of Canmore, Alberta's cooperation in this program.
