Personal Background: Years ago, I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. There is no cure. We’re stretching time for as long as we can. And I’m lucky. Although I’m in pain every day in almost every part of my body, I’m still here, and that luck isn’t granted to everyone who falls ill. I’ve been living in 'injury time' for a long while now, and I am deeply grateful for that.
