But when Rachel finds a tiny green lump clinging to the bear, she falls under its spell. Naming it Borne, she nurtures it and teaches it to talk, glimpsing in its innocence an antidote to the devastation around her. But the Company may still be in operation and as Borne grows, this creature threatens the city’s precarious balance of power.
