Radar detector detector testing - Uniden R4, R7, DFR9 and Radenso DS1

Описание: In this video I’m doing some comparative and real world tests to see how different radar detectors compare in terms of their Radar Detector Detector Spectre Immunity.

Radar detectors are banned in many countries around the world and also in parts of the USA and Canada. Radar detectors are also banned in Australia. Someone in Australia recently got caught running a Radenso DS1, therefore I also wanted to compare the some popular different detectors to see how they compare.

I was also keen to get some video testing the R7 running the 150 international firmware and testing it’s new RDD stealth feature.

The RDD stealth setting on the R7 150 firmware can be set as OFF; ON; and Max.
The On and Max RDD settings effect how the RDD stealthing works at different speeds and as combined with the Auto-City and Quiet Ride speed settings. Therefore depending on RDD setting and the Speed settings, the R7 can be operating in: 1) Full RDD Stealth mode; 2 Active Stealth Mode; and 3) Normal mode. The lower speeds need the most stealthing as when you’re in traffic or parking and/or starting up that is when you’ll be most easily identified by the Radar Detector Detector.
