Raised in Bogotá, MARANTÁ approaches the DJ format from a different place. His background is not rooted in club culture, but in songwriting, rock music, and the intimacy of voice and guitar.

For him, mixing is a form of composition. Tracks are treated as raw material, not simply connected, but carefully shaped in between. Harmony, tension, and silence are allowed to exist as intentional parts of the process.

Working from his studio La Cueva in Bogotá, MARANTÁ moves slowly and deliberately, chasing sound through complex and imperfect paths. Not because it is efficient, but because that is where he finds meaning and joy.
