TOP 5 BIKES UNDER 2 Lakh IN INDIA 2017 # 2

The 400cc Bajaj Bike is finally here! Bajaj has officially launched the Dominar 400 (Pulsar CS400) in India for Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The all-new Bajaj D400 generates maximum power of 35 PS @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 35 NM @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the kerb weight of the bike is 182 kg. The company claimed top speed of the bike is 148 kmph and it can do the 0-100 kmph sprint in 8.23 seconds. Bajaj Dominar 400 is available in India with 2-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The key rivals of the bike in India are RE Himalayan, Mahindra Mojo 300, RE Classic 350, Benelli TNT 250 and KTM Duke 390.

KTM has officially launched the 2017 model of RC 200 in India for Rs 1.71 lakhs. The most affordable track based 200cc motorcycle in India, KTM RC 200 comes with all of the premium equipment like USD forks, projectors headlights, aerodynamic design and all-new Black-White-Orange theme. It lacks ABS while shares the Orange frame with its elder sibling, RC390. KTM RC200 competes against Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and Honda CBR250R in India.

Royal Enfield Himalayan is the first of its kind motorcycle of India, offering a full fledged off-roader with the ability to run over places where no roads exist. It is powered by a 411cc long stroke engine producing 24.5 BHP and 32 Nm of torque. It offers 220 mm of ground clearance and weighs 182 kg. Himalayan comes with a 10,000 kilometer service interval and uses the trusted 5-speed gearbox for its operations. RE Himalayan rivals Mahindra Mojo in the Indian market while offers 200 mm and 180 mm of front and real wheel travel respectively.

UM Renegade Commando carries a vintage, war inspired design. It is new to the Indian market and comes equipped with 279.5cc, 1-cylinder engine producing 24.8 BHP and 21.8 Nm of torque. It's high 172 kg of kerb weight makes it slower than most bikes in the competition. RE Classic 350 seems to be the most suited rival to the UM Commando in terms of design while pricing places it near to the RE Himalayan and Mahindra Mojo.

Benelli TNT25 is a quarter liter naked street bike from the Italian brand, rivaling none other than the Honda CBR250R and Mahindra Mojo in its segment. It comes with a 249cc, 1-cylinder engine producing 28.16 BHP and 21.61 Nm of torque. It weighs 159 kg and offers a sizable 17 liter fuel tank for lesser refills. The top speed is claimed at 145 kmph while TNT25 is offered with two different tyre options. It is even many times compared to the famous KTM 200 Duke as both have the same naked styling lines.
