With our new pressure cooking campaign, Fissler, the premium cookware manufacturer from Idar-Oberstein in Germany, celebrates 70 years of pressure cooking. The anniversary refers to the invention of the Fissler pressure cooker with a multi-level safety valve in 1953. 70 years ago Fissler was the first manufacturer who tamed the pressure cooker and made it safe for home use for the first time. Since then, Fissler filed countless patents and innovations which laid the foundation for the Fissler brand's success in becoming the leading cooking expert in pressure cooking.
