The cure for eye floaters is generally dependent on the cause. The most common cause is ageing of the vitreous gel and this is treated by an operation called vitrectomy which removes the gel.
The treatment, or ‘cure’ for eye floaters with vitrectomy is safe and effective, working better than other treatments such as drops or laser.
