Описание: The Telematic was the first Super 8 projector produced by the Italian Firm of Silma. This model was built during 1966 in both Super 8 and Standard 8 versions. It features a high power 21.5volt 150 Watt lamp. It has a variable speed control from 15-24 fps and is thus ideal for home optical transfer of Super 8 films. An unusual feature is the 13ft wired remote control - the long lead allowing the projectionist (In theory at least) to sit in an armchair alongside the audience! Plugging in the remote disconnects the controls on the projector. There is no mains switch on the machine - the cooling fan starts when you plug it in. Threading is semi-automatic and switches on the lamp at pre-heat - designed to extend the life of the (expensive) lamp. A Silma zoom lens was supplied - but mine became affected by mould and it was easily replaced by the Bolex HiFi - as illustrated in the video. Solidly built in a metal housing the projector runs quietly and is fun to use - once you get used to its various quirks.
