-It is a treasure from the rich culture of the Deaf Community of American Sign Language (ASL) users.
-It is a poem that tells a story using each letter of the alphabet, starting from A and ending in Z.
-Each hand-shape is a consecutive letter in alphabetical order.
-ABC-stories can include actual signs, but mostly utilizes movements that can be understood by non ASL users.
