Always Got the Time (Multi-Cam "Music Video")

I started writing this song after a friend I knew from Florida who moved up to Boston told me about her making a magazine and needing a musician to put in the columns. She had told me I was a first priority call and that it would be under the “jazz” section of her college magazine. I am a not a man of jazz. But I have tried my hand (with liberties, all the way taken)

This song is called “Always Got the Time” and is in a long list of my original songs that have come from my "Write a Song (or three, no two) a Day Challenge". I originally wrote it during a fire alarm scare that happened in my dorm building, silencing out the background noise I just focused on the picking of a 4-bar loop.

It’s a blend of some bossanova-ish/latin “jazz”. It’s incredibly simple but that was a goal of mine since all my compositions at the moment go over 5 minutes and have at least like 4 different sections. It’s very formulaic, but I wanted the lyrics to be more Insightful.
