It was December 26, 2015. For those across the Dallas metro many were still enjoying the holiday festivities, either it be the gifts they received or the family many cherished who came to visit. It was business as usual for most, although one thing was different, the weather. The weather was unusually warm and muggy for the time of year, given that weather many knew that storms were coming, but nobody knew what mother nature had in store. The nightmare scenario that a violent tornado would tear through Dallas nearly came true, as two supercell thunderstorms produced intense to violent tornadoes in the metro. 10 years have passed since tornado outbreak, so I decided to take a deep dive into the tornado outbreak that caused so many painful memories to those in the region, welcome to Nature's Fury.
