Recipe and Directions
Miso Glaze
Cooking Oil
3-4 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1/3 cup of Mirin or rice wine
1/3 cup of your favorite miso (I use normal Miso)
1/3 cup of sake
¼ cup Brown Sugar
4 Chilean Sea Bass fillets (you can also use cod or salmon)
Instructions: In a pot, add a little bit of cooking oil. When oil is warm add minced garlic. Sautee around until fragrant. Add mirin, sake, miso, and brown sugar and mix until miso is well dissolved. Once dissolved, set aside and cool. Once cool add Sea bass to a Ziploc bag and the glaze marinade and marinate for 1 hour to 24 hours preferably. After marination is complete, add to an oven dish and bake on 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Start your Bok Choy in the interim.
After 7 minutes, add to top rack on oven and boil for 2-3 minutes.
Let sit for 1-2 minutes and top with marinade in the oven pan. Serve with white rice and Bok Choy.
Bok Choy
Bunch of Bok Choy (rinse off well before cooking)
Sesame Oil
1-2 tablespoons of Soy Sauce
Instructions: In a frying pan, add sesame oil. Once warm add rinsed and dried off Bok choy to the pan. After 1-2 minutes add soy sauce and sauté until wilted. Serve with Jasmine Rice, Brown Rice, or Cauliflower Rice and Miso Glazed Sea Bass.
