In June of 2019 I stumbled upon a little show about a girl stuck in a world of amphibians, trying to get back home and finding her slightly toxic friends. What I thought was just a cute cartoon with a healthy dose of chaotic and dark humor, soon became one of my favorite animated shows in recent years. A show that for its finale really digged deep into the chest for anime tropes of yester year, resulting in me having quite a laugh at the similarities to "The Hardest Thing"s final battle and one of my favorite Gamecube games ever.
This AMV is meant as a tribute to Amphibia, meaning to highlight how Anne, Sasha and Marcy kinda "lived and learned" to become better people. Spoiler warnings for the shows finale are obvious.
Finally, I want to thank every person involved with the show and within the fandom who made watching this show so much fun.
In that regard, thank you Matt Braly and team for three seasons in that magical world of Amphibia. May your future be as bright as of those three girls.
