After 10 years, I returned to the ocean — to Mahibadhoo, a quiet island in South Ari Atoll, Maldives.
This time, it was a solo journey. A return to scuba diving, calm waters, old friendships, and a lot of underwater magic.
From being flown into Malé by my childhood friend, Nikhil (now a pilot), to diving again with my mentor Shujau — a dive master with over 16,000 dives — this trip was unforgettable.
Shot using GoPro Hero 13, 9 and Canon R5 Mark II, this film captures my return to the deep, the silence below, and the joy of rediscovering the ocean.
