Sailing from Formentera, Ibiza to Torquay UK.
Sailed to Palamos, South East Spain, then to Marseille France where the masts were dropped to enable us to navigate the canals and rivers.
Initially planned to go through Paris but rivers were in flood, so opted for the Somme but that was frozen with the beast from the east! so headed for Calais, then a long stint to Weymouth before the final delivery port.
the last 30% of the journey was single handed which threw up many challenges, not least the English Channel and the yacht rolled badly at times I feared the masts safety, so added a bounty of extra lashings!
