Kim Hermanson, Ph.D. is a pioneering educator and shaman. During a series of 3 shamanic initiations, she was spiritually gifted with the ability to quickly shift a person out of his or her thinking mind into an intelligent field of profound beauty that lies beyond thought. Her seminars attract visionaries, pioneers, and trailblazers who are 'pushing the wall' with her to bring forth a new world. She is on the faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute and has taught at several other graduate schools of psychology, including UC Berkeley, and the Esalen Institute. Kim worked as a computer scientist in the field of artificial intelligence before a series of mystical experiences instructed her to show others how to access the realm of intelligence beyond our thinking mind. Her PhD in Education is from the University of Chicago. She has co-authored articles and book chapters with Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, the bestselling author of Flow and founder of the field of positive psychology.
