Opening in 2024, DreamWorks Land took over the former site of Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone, which included attractions like Fievel’s Playland, Curious George Goes to Town, and Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster. This new expansion signals a major shift toward globally popular franchises and fully immersive worlds. The land is split into three main zones, each themed around a different DreamWorks franchise. Shrek fans can visit his iconic cottage, meet Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey, and explore a swamp-themed musical play area. The Trolls section features bright colors, bouncing beats, Poppy’s Playground, and a family coaster starring Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond. In the Kung Fu Panda area, kids can train like true warriors at Po’s dojo, splash through the Pond of Perpetual Wetness, and spin on Mr. Ping’s noodle bowls.

DreamWorks Land adds to the daytime magic, but by night, Universal Studios Florida becomes a scream-filled thrill zone with Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Running from August 29 to November 2, HHN 2025 features haunted houses based on Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Fallout, plus original horror experiences like El Artista and Dolls: Let’s Play Dead. Scare zones, shows like Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay, and exclusive merchandise make it a must-visit Halloween event.

Universal Studios Florida has evolved from its film studio roots into one of Orlando’s most iconic theme parks. Alongside DreamWorks Land, the park features world-class attractions including Diagon Alley in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, E.T. Adventure, The Simpsons Ride, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, and Transformers: The Ride 3D. Themed areas span New York, Hollywood, Springfield USA, and more.

DreamWorks Land is just one part of the larger Universal Orlando Resort, which also includes Islands of Adventure, home to Jurassic World and Marvel Super Hero Island; Volcano Bay water park; and Epic Universe, the latest theme park offering brand-new lands and attractions.
