Safety in the Art Room
Please be aware of the following safety precautions.
Keep a fire extinguisher close by when using a torch or any open flame. Read manufacturer's instructions and keep a folder with all directions in an easy-to-find place.
Studio Safety Quick Tips:
I wear nitrile gloves (to protect my skin and prevent dryness), my JSB Force 10 mask with Apex1 P3 filters, and have my extractor running when working with resin (epoxy or UV) or spray paint — even “non-toxic” products release tiny invisible particles and fumes.

For acrylic fluid art pours, a mask isn’t necessary, but good ventilation and gloves help keep your space fresh and hands happy.

I am not an expert and am not liable for the way you use your paints or tools. You must follow the manufacturer's instructions. Please be careful and use common sense with the products you use. I want us all to be safe in our creative pursuits.
