It really has been a while, and let's get going! Most of the items below have endured countless trials of battle and remain stalwart despite the challenges. Should you wish to borrow them for practice, simply arrive at the armory 30 minutes early before the practice, with the practice info in our discord   / discord  

As of August 11th 2025, UIMA will have the following public instruments available for borrowing during practice. This list does *not* include fresh equipment reserved for member purchases

There are 57 steel instruments in total, counting all steel swords and including the 2 partizans and 2 bayonet trainers.

Sabres: 15 (12 steel & 3 synthetics)
Longswords: 24 (17 steel, 3 synthetic, 4 foam)
Greatsword: 1 (1 steel, supervision needed)
Daggers: 4 (Rubber)
Rapiers: 7 (Steel, 2 convertible to sidesword)
Sideswords: 4 (Steel, 2 convertible to rapier)
Shields: 11 (See below for details)
Arming Swords: 5 (3 steel, 1 steel light, 1 foam)
Dao/Asian-1-edge: 6 (5 steel, 1 foam, 2 shinai)
Jian/Asian-2-edges: 1 (Steel)
Spears: 11 (2 long, 3 medium, 2 partizans, 4 short)
Polearms: 6 (2 halberds, 2 bayonet trainers, 2 axes)
Smallswords: 3 (epees)

All equipment is deposited at the Armory, with instruments coded. As mentioned above, please arrive at the armory 30 minutes early before the practice for borrowing. Since we only charge a tiny 5 bucks fee for equipment replacement, **please oil and deposit them in their slot after usage. **
