The island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and the world. There are 130 on the island and we're spotlighting 5 of our favorites from a recent trip our family took.

We cover 5 of our favorite Eleuthera beaches here with Gaulding Cay, Rainbow Bay Beach, French Leave Beach, Twin Coves Beach and Surfer's Beach.

We stayed near Gregory Town and got to explore from North Eleuthera down to around Governor's Harbor.

The local Bahamian were awesome. The food was great. And it was just such a beautiful and special island that rarely a day goes by where we're not talking about going back.

If you do end up on Eleuthera and one of these beaches (or another one), please remember to clean up after yourself. If you bring drinks or food or snacks, leave the place better than you found it. Locals live here and will deal with any messes we make long after we leave so please be mindful of that and do your part.
