COSTA RICA Rainy Season Adventures Continues To Poás VOLCANO! Botos Lagoon+Starbucks Plantation

It was an awesome day as we were lucky that Poás Volcano showed her beauty to us and didn't cover up in the clouds! A beautiful drive with lots of elevation gain brings you to such an amazing sight and a very active volcano. If you take the trails you will end up at Botos Lagoon and I highly recommend you don't skip out on that as it is jaw dropping blue. If you don't want to take the long hike all the way back to the visitors center like we did you can just go to the lagoon and then go back the volcano way. But if you like isolation and beautiful trails all to yourself, definitely give it a go!
After we visited the beauty of Poás we made our way back down the mountain to San Jose but not before stopping off at the Starbucks Plantation. You don't need to buy anything in order to visit and it is definitely worth the stop to see the awesome waterfall and maybe buy a coffee there if you'd like. I found it a tad expensive so we just walked around and enjoyed the view.
We went to the central market and ate dinner and did some shopping but for some reason I didn't record anything there....OOPS! Apparently the place is known for theft so maybe it is a good thing I didn't but I felt like it was safe enough....Stay tuned for the next video as we leave San Jose and make our way to the Bajos Del Toro region to see some epic blue waterfalls and rivers!!
