🏃♂️ Levels Breakdown — Which One is Right for You?
Here’s a simple breakdown of the three levels offered at events, so everyone can find their perfect challenge:
🌟 Novice Level
Best for: beginners, those new to fitness or coming back after a break.
Format: Shortest distances and lowest reps. You’ll run or walk a lap, do body-weight movements like squats (25), lie-downs/stand-ups (10), hand walk-outs (10), light lunge walk (50 m) and burpee steps (25 m).
Why it works: Gentle on joints, confidence-building and supportive — perfect first step into regular activity.
💪 Intermediate Level
Best for: people who already exercise regularly and want a moderate challenge.
Format: More laps per running segment, squats (50), lie-downs/stand-ups (25), hand walk-outs (25), longer lunge section (100 m) and burpee steps (50 m).
Why it works: Pushes endurance and strength without being overwhelming — great next step after novice.
🔥 Proficient Level
Best for: seasoned fitness enthusiasts and competitive spirits.
Format: Even more laps each run, big rep counts — squats (100), lie-downs/stand-ups (50), hand walk-outs (50), lunge walk (200 m) and burpee steps (100 m).
Why it works: A serious full-body challenge that tests stamina, strength, and grit — and celebrates what you can do.
💡 Remember: The Longevity Games are inclusive by design — you choose your level based on your current fitness and comfort, and coaches and volunteers are there to support you every step of the way.
