1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot milk

Mix together then let cool slightly before adding remaining ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sourdough starter
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil

*Bake in hot buttered cast-iron skillet 375°
