My favorite drum machine, maybe ever..
I had this mint condition sps-1 mk2 UW+
Uw meaning “user wave” and the plus stands for the plusdrive memory.
This being the “ultimate “ machine drum….
But stupid me, sold it for about $1k to get a analog
Four at $700. 🤡…. I know…
Anyway, i was never into the UW part of it.. dealing with samples and loading stuff into USBless machines is definitely not my thing.
So i was like…. I wish a “regular” full syntheis channels …
And there it spawned at still a decent price, Also on a mint condition 😮💨.
It was like it had my name on it..
only downside is that this version didn’t was released with the “plus drive” ,
And i had this timelapse where i could still order an upgrade from elektron to get this done, but i let some time pass an now that service is OVER! . 🫠
This would have been a very rare sps1 mk2 + (no uw) but couldn’t make that unicorn. F.
