Eight-year-old Chloe Jeffries from the Gold Coast died in a snowmobile accident near Habuka Village, Japan, when the two-seater vehicle her mother was driving overturned during a tour operated by Habuka Lion Adventure. She is the fourth Australian to die at Japanese ski resorts in the past two months. The tour operator has suspended snowmobile tours until further notice, while Japanese police have not commented on whether the operator was at fault.
