Kamla Rampersad de Silva moderates Part 3 of the series on public sector procurement put on by the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute.
Speakers were Robbie Rambaran from Guyana and Chairman of the Office of the Procurement Regulator Mr Moonilal Lalchan. It was a wide ranging discussion including the role of those in finance and separating those involved in procuring goods and services for the public sector.
There is a RACI matrix which can also be used for internal controls. The online database is fully operational for all government agencies and Government ministries. The Office of the Procurement Regulator now becomes the single database for all public sector procurement.
