Department store escalators - Unusual edition!
We take a POV ride on 6x Otis escalators at the John Lewis Department store in Nottingham City Centre - part of the Victoria Centre mall. The steps on the 4x lower escalators are unusual in that they are screwed together rather than 1 piece - and also they’re a slightly unusual width! And look at some of the handrail arc ends, they’re totally flat / squared! They are quirky in a good way. They ride really well too!
