The Living Daylights is the original soundtrack to EON Productions' fifteenth 1987 James Bond film of the same name. The album was first released in 1987 by Warner Bros. records.
The film music was composed by John Barry and is therefore his last contribution to a James Bond film. He made a total of eleven soundtracks that are credited to him and with the first film Dr. No he had also contributed. The album also contains three songs for which Barry also wrote the music, consisting of the title song "The Living Daylights" with lyrics by Pål Waaktaar-Savoy and performed by a-ha and the songs "Where Has Everybody Gone" and "If There Was a Man" with lyrics by Chrissie Hynde and performed by The Pretenders. The record labels Rykodisc (1998) and EMI (2003) also released the album with nine extra tracks. The highest ranking of a-ha's title song in the Dutch Top 40 was place 11 and in the Flemish Ultratop 50 place 4.

The Living Daylights is de originele soundtrack van de vijftiende James Bond-film van EON Productions uit 1987 met dezelfde naam. Het album werd voor het eerst uitgebracht in 1987 door Warner Bros. Records.
De filmmuziek werd gecomponeerd door John Barry en is daar mee ook zijn laatste bijdragen aan een James Bond-film. In totaal maakte hij elf soundtracks die op zijn naam staan geschreven en bij de eerste film Dr. No had hij ook een bijdragen geleverd. Het album bevat ook nog drie songs waarvan Barry ook de muziek schreef, bestaande uit de titelsong "The Living Daylights" met teksten van Pål Waaktaar-Savoy en uitgevoerd door a-ha en de liedjes "Where Has Everybody Gone" en "If There Was a Man" met teksten van Chrissie Hynde en uitgevoerd door The Pretenders.
