This shows how stable a ballscrew can be using high quality parts and machining, the main factors are as follows in no particular order. checkout our website: http://www.cnc4you.co.uk/Ballscrew
1. High quality Ballscrew and Ballnut
2. Professional machining as ends have to be centrally machined
3. High Quality Fixed and floating ends we sell TMT which is SYK
4. Allignment of parts.
Pretty much any of the above can cause problems but cheap imports are poorly machined but even worse BK12 and BF12 blocks are just not fit for purpose from low cost imports our Ballscrews are CNC machined. As you can see we have run our Ballscrew for many years with still outstanding results, prices are low due to high volume manufacture as most of our 1000mm or less Ballscrew and Ballnut machined combinations are cheaper than just getting them machined without part cost. this is running at 2000rpm which is maximum for 100KHz UC100 motion controller running under Mach3 which would give a speed of 10000mm per minute as ballscrew is 5mm pitch. as you can also see acceleration is high which would cause real problems with poorly machined parts and in the main acceleration is more important for most CNC machines than top speed as you are accelerating and decelerating thousands of times in most CNC machining operations.
Setup was 1200mm long RM1605 with Ballnut, 4Nm stepper motor drivern by CWD556 DSP Digital driver and TMT (SYK) BK12 and BF12 ballscrew supports.
